I haven't used this in a while and just discovered it seems to have developed skipping problems - particularly on the letters "w" and "a". Pity.
This will come in handy for a rainy Sunday - the weather has been too pleasant to stay indoors for the past couple of weekends, not that I'm complaining!
I like the IKEA spoof instruction manual.
The map will come in handy even outside of the puzzle, I'm sure! I can't wait to get started and I'll post an update in a few months when we've had time to assemble it.
Puzzling together CSP and le Léman will be tough. :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful typewriter. I grew up playing the same games. The boss (my wife) & I still play Scrabble, but being an engineer I am also lazy at keeping score so I use my HP48GX and let it do the work. Deb's into the puzzles. I've not done one for decades. Very nice post. You've brought back fond memories. Have fun building Geneva!
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for Wordsmith or Words with Friends opponents...look me up on either at the handle deeksworld.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind offer, sir! Finally, a reason to download the infamous Words with Friends. Looking forward to it.
DeleteGood luck with the puzzle! The instructions are very funny.
ReplyDeleteAre those the real instructions? Because that's a hoot.
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle looks like real brain-scrambler, but I do love maps.
